Na Hang - Tuyen Quang

Na Hang is in the north of Tuyen Quang Northern Province. Na Hang town is about 110km fromTuyenQuangTownship. Na Hang is bordered with the districts of Bac Me, Bao me, Cho Don, Chiem Hoa, Bac Quang.

Na Hang is the land of fairy beautiful landscapes, land of legends of the primeval forest and spring. The river, the waterfall, the spring are the gift from the nature for this land. Those are carved into the poem and literature and the legends which are deep with humanity.

No one could refuse to take a boat trip to Tuyen Quang hydroelectric lake. Visitors could enjoy the nature with vast water land and legend about this area.

On the way to see the lake, visitors would come to Pac Ban waterfall with nine layers. In the rain season, water flows from the top to create much white spume. In the dry season, the water seems to be more harmony with the sunlight shining.

The nature reserve Tat Ke – Ban Bung is nearly 42sq km wide, which embraces all the five communes with thousands of specious animals. There is the type of snub nose langurs which listed in the Red Book of the world.

Pau Hau Waterfall is nearly ten km from the centre of Na Hang town. Many people come to Pac Hau like coming to an ecotourism destination in the hot summer days. The waterfall has five layers with each beauty to discover. This waterfall is not affected by any movements from human, and it attracts the people by its wildness. In order to come to the highest peak of the waterfall, people have to have the skill and spirit. There is no other means instead of rope to support the walker. Besides, there were somebody exploited the gold and left the artificial caves in this place to make the advantages for this place.

Na Hang is also famous for the strange attraction of the rich culture of ethnic people like Tay, Dao, Mong, Kinh, etc. Na Hang people have create a treasure of rich culture with the melodies of Then, Sli, Luong, etc.

Visitors would enjoy the specialties of this land such as sticky rice and sea same and salt, forest vegetable, bitten vegetable. When you come back, you could have some liters of honey in your package or the Na Hang corn wine, San Tuyet tea or the souvenir made from bamboo.
